Prestige Quality – Supreme Flexibility

In fact, the R.3 HDMI cable is nearly equal to the EVO, however it is meant for the professional installer market. Due to this, it is available in a large variety of lengths (from 1 ft. to 20 ft., with an increment of 1 to 2 ft.). Packaging is sober, instead of a cardboard box, a plastic bag is used. The price is a bit friendlier also.

The R.3 series by Kordz still offers the performance that’s regarded „top of the line“ by other manufacturers. The R.3 has basically the same construction as the EVS, EVX and LUX series. The biggest difference is the absence of silver in the conductors, OFC (pure copper) is used instead.

In direct comparison with other HDMI cables, the R.3 is far superior. The R.3 uses solid metal connectors (most HDMI cables use folded metal connectors). Due to these solid connectors, your cable locks rock solid into your equipment. No additional locking accesories are needed. All Kordz HDMI cables exactly follow the HDMI compliance rules. This seems to be logical but the simple fact locking accessories do exist to prevent your cables from falling out tells you, this is not true. (this is no example of „fine engineering“). Kordz R.3 cables require at least 2 kg of pull to detach the connector from your equipment.

It has massive conductors that are soldered directly to the connector pins, the connectors are fully shielded and crafted from one piece of metal. In addition, Kordz offers a limited lifetime warranty on the R.3 cable.

The R.3 stands out from the rest in this price class because of the materials used, innovative and technically advanced composition and the use of induction soldered conductors to the pins of the connector (without a connecting PCB). Due to this, the R.3 exhibits much lower jitter than the average HDMI cable.
