Solution to SPDIF splutters

The iFi Audio iPurifier2 SPDIF is a small interface that functions as an EMI/RFI filter, galvanic isolation and reclocker. It provides you with a clean audio signal for improved playback. The application of the SPDIF iPurifier2 results in a fully restored, jitter-free signal that adds greater dynamic contrast, greater warmth, and improved detail to your sound.

Most consumer devices, such as televisions, TV boxes or consoles, but also DACs or CD players, have SPDIF outputs. These can suffer from low quality transmission due to high jitter. The iPurifier2, thanks to its ultra-fast 10 MHz femtosecond clock, cancels the jitter for a precise and transparent, high resolution reproduction. A galvanic isolation limits the impact of interference on the signal and therefore the noise generated. The iPurifier2 SPDIF is compatible with DTS, Dolby Digital, DoP and DSD signals. It supports PCM streams up to 24 bit 192 kHz.

On the connector side, there is an optical and coaxial combo on mini-jack. For the outputs, the iPurifier2 SPDIF is equipped with a coaxial connector and an optical mini-jack connector, both being usable simultaneously.
